Our Investment Plans
We blend safe midwifery support with the developmental knowledge of an Occupational Therapist.
1. The Sweet Water Experience (Home Birth)
$6,000 – $9,500* Everything you need for a safe, sacred home birth.
Includes: Complete Prenatal Care, Labor & Birth, Birth Supplies, and 12 Months Postpartum Support.
2. Collaborative Hospital Care
$6,000 – $8,500* For hospital births where you want a pro by your side.
Includes: Prenatal Care, Active Labor Support at the hospital, Newborn Exam (within 24 hours), and 12 Months Postpartum Support.
3. Comprehensive Maternity Program
$5,000 – $6,800* For hospital births where you want the "Before & After" care.
Includes: Prenatal Care and 12 Months Postpartum Support.

Flexible Payment Options
We want you here. If your heart is set on Sweet Water, we will do our best to help you make the math work. While we don't bill insurance directly, we have plenty of ways to pay.
Custom Payment Plans: We don't do "one size fits all." We can split your balance into monthly payments that fit your timeline.
Sustainability pricing: We will look at your income and family size together to find a price that is fair for you and sustainable for us
HSA & FSA Accepted: Yes! You can use your pre-tax health savings dollars here. It’s like getting an automatic discount.
Financing: Need more time? We accept CareCredit and PayPal. (Note: These third-party services do charge a small transaction fee.)
Barter & Trade Money isn't the only currency we accept. We are open to partial barter arrangements for goods or services (e.g., photography, farm goods, handy work). Let's talk about what you can offer.
Total Transparency (No Surprise Bills)
We hate hidden fees. Here is exactly what is extra, so you can budget with confidence.
1. The "Outside" Stuff: Things like blood work labs, ultrasounds, genetic testing, and the Backup Midwife Fee are billed separately by those providers. We will always tell you the cost in writing before we order anything.
2. The Safety Squad (Birth Assistant) Birth isn’t a one-person job. We bring a trained Birth Assistant to your labor for extra safety and support. This fee ensures you have a full team of pros focusing entirely on you.
3. The Road Trip Fee We love coming to you! If you live more than 50 miles away, we charge a travel fee ($0.725 per mile) to cover gas and car time. (Note: For very long-distance births, accommodations or travel costs may apply.)
The "Family" Perk: Price Lock
We love repeat clients! If you have another baby with Sweet Water Midwifery in the future, we lock in your rate.
You pay the same price as your first birth, even if our prices have gone up in the meantime. Consider it a "Loyalty Thank You." (Exception: Unless your income changes significantly or medical supply costs skyrocket).
