Ifáṣeun was so respectful, positive, and helpful during my prenatal visits. My sweet boy, who is 3 years old, was with me for almost every prenatal visit, which added a certain level of chaos. She was so sweet and kind to him, always making the effort to include him where she could and help me entertain his curious mind. She would always ask before touching me, and would be so positive even if I was nervous about something. She is very knowledgeable about herbal remedies and natural ways to handle things, which was a wonderful experience for me during prenatal visits because I like using what God has provided to us.
Labor and delivery were incredible with Ifáṣeun. My husband was with me, and she just let us relax and go through the beginning of labor together alone so I could relax with him. She immediately picked up on things that helped soothe me and gave gentle instructions to my hubby to help keep me calm through contractions to help me progress. When things got near the end of labor, she helped reassure me that I was doing everything right and that everything was going well. I was a VBAC, so I needed a lot of reassurance that everything was normal since I never got to experience full labor with my first birth. She helped me feel safe and heard throughout the entire labor. She again gave gentle instructions to my husband to help me relax more while I was in transition and pushing, so he could assist holding me up and let my body relax into the final pushing contractions. She handled everything so wonderfully and made me feel so empowered through the whole labor experience. When delivery came, she helped coach my breathing and pushing, so I had minimal tearing. My husband got to cut the cord, and my little girl got to latch almost immediately, and I was given time to bond and breastfeed my sweet girl before anything else was done. My little girl stayed with us in the room while she was checked over for weighing and making sure she was healthy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first full labor and delivery. I brag to all my family and friends about how wonderful and blissful the experience was.
The postnatal visits mirrored the prenatal visits. Ifáṣeun again was respectful and positive. Always asking before touching the baby girl or me. As well as including my sweet boy, where she could. She always made sure I understood what each thing was that she was doing. It was an incredible experience having her come to my home to check us over. I could not recommend her more.

Ifaseun's midwifery care is very wonderful. She is very respectful and funny, and her care is true and authentic! I completely felt like she made all my problems hers and helped me figure them out. She gave me all the nutrient recommendations I need and ideas for meals to help me and the baby stay healthy. She gave me all the paperwork I needed, and it wasn't a lot to go through, but just enough for me to get through. She listened to my baby, and I love that she does things the natural way. She would come to my visits and help me relax and feel my mind and body stable. She showed up for me in the hospital when I needed to have a C-section, and then I felt attacked by the nurse, as my midwife helped advocate for me, and she really showed up for me. I was able to express all the things I was feeling. She took care of my daughter after and checked on her and gave her that extra care that the doctors wouldn't have even for me during birth and postpartum! Words can't explain how much she was there for me and advocated for me during pregnancy and postpartum. She helped me have some stability for my postpartum care. Her Midwifery care is highly recommended!
